How we do business
We believe in transparency and taking care of the patient the way we would want to be cared for. That's why we include a limited complimentary warranty on every purchase of prescription eyewear.
Policy on Exchanges & Returns
Our ultimate goal is your satisfaction. Contact us right away with any questions or concerns about your order so we may have the opportunity to take care of you. If a return or exchange is needed, we will provide a downloadable return label. Please allow up to seven business days for returns to process.
Frames may be returned within 30 days of purchase and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns are not valid if the frame shows signs of wear or intentional damage. Any pieces or parts that were shipped with the original order, including eyeglass cases, cloths, etc must also be returned in their original, unused condition.
Custom lenses, eyewear accessories, and beauty products are final sale. Prescription lenses are a made-to-order product, unable to be resold. Fabric accessories and beauty items are not returnable for hygiene safety.
We offer a one-time redo/remake for eyewear with any accuracy issues, within 30 days from the date of purchase.
Warranty for Damaged Lenses or Frames
We understand accidents happen. We provide a complimentary one-time replacement for damaged or defective lenses, coatings, or frames for 12 months from the date of purchase. Further replacements are subject to a prorated fee as determined by the shop owners.
Spectacle prescriptions are valid for one year from the date of exam in the state of South Carolina, regardless of the original location of refraction, so keeping a current script on file with our office is best in order to avoid any interruptions in your care. Please note, according to SC law, a refraction that is performed online or by a kiosk is not considered a complete examination, and the prescription will not be accepted as valid.
Eyewear Maintenance
Just like any piece of precision equipment, your eyewear will need regular maintenance to perform its best. We offer free adjustments and cleanings for any eyewear regardless of the original place of purchase.
A small fee can be expected for minor repairs that require pieces or parts to be replaced, or for any permanent modifications to be made to your eyewear. You accept the risk of accidental damages during the course of repair or modification. We reserve the right to refuse to service any eyewear based on our professional judgement.
